About Me

I grew up in northern Virginia before attending college at Liberty University, where I received a B.A. in English. After graduating, I moved to Charlotte to work for a nonprofit, which is when I discovered my love for holding space to hear people’s stories. I began to see how powerful and healing it was to bear witness to someone’s wounds, and I wanted to learn how to do so professionally. This led to my decision to go into counseling, and I received my M.A. in Christian Counseling at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. I am so grateful to be in the work of counseling, and consider it an honor to walk through difficult seasons with clients and to help them feel seen and known.

In my free time, I’m usually at a coffee shop catching up with my friends or reading a book. I also enjoy doing yoga, working on a puzzle, trying a new hobby, or spending time with my cat Ivy. And you can almost always find me listening to Taylor Swift - her songs have gotten me through many seasons of life.
