Kaitlyn Stickley, LCMHCA, NCC

Are you tired of getting caught in cycles of people pleasing, feeling the weight of emotional labor, and managing anxiety and stress that prevents you from living the life you want to live? Are you sorting through family of origin issues, religious trauma, or spiritual abuse, and searching for a sense of self? Perhaps you feel you are always the responsible one who has it all together, who people go to for support and help. The weight of this can leave you drained and exhausted.

Therapy is a place where you don't have to have it all together. I believe that there is always hope for you to find healing, and this shapes my approach to counseling. My goal is to foster a safe, non-judgmental space where we can build a trusting relationship so you can find healing as you explore how your story has shaped you.

I see adult individuals, adolescents, and children in-person in the Charlotte, NC area and virtually in the state of North Carolina. I work with a variety of issues such as anxiety, women’s issues, spiritual trauma and abuse, religious issues, depression, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, and attachment issues. I use an integrative approach of Acceptance and Commitment Theory, Internal Family Systems, and attachment theory. I am also EMDR trained.
